Key Responsibilities Inspect machined components using Faro Quantum M4.0 7 Axis Arm and FAROBlu HD LLP. Use Faro CAM2 software to produce inspection reports. Conduct goods-in, first-off, and in-process inspections. Identify deviations and report non-conformances. Calibrate measuring equipment per ISO 9001:2015. Maintain traceability and collaborate with Design on manufacturability. Essential Criteria Proficient in Faro Arm, CAM2 software, and standard measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, thread gauges, etc.). Able to read and interpret metric and imperial engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. Desirable Criteria Engineering/heavy industry experience. Knowledge of geometric tolerancing, CAD models, and ISO 9001:2015. Overhead crane competency and problem-solving ability. Salary & Benefits Up to £38,000 per annum + annual bonus 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme, death in service benefit 40 hours/week, Mon–Fri 8:00–16:30 (flexibility & overtime may be required) Occasional site visits
We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in: Setting and operating CNC lathes and milling machines (Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain controls) Reading and working from engineering drawings with minimal supervision Working to tight tolerances and using precision measurement tools Keeping a clean, organised workspace Taking responsibility for health, safety, and environmental standards Supporting the team with additional tasks as needed Skills & Experience CNC machining experience, ideally with horizontal/vertical turret lathes (Fanuc) Mill-turn experience (desirable, however training is available) Skilled in using CNC tooling and precision instruments (verniers, micrometers, gauges) Able to read mechanical drawings and measure in imperial/metric units Basic CNC programming knowledge (desirable) Strong mechanical aptitude and good maths skills NVQ, HNC, or equivalent engineering qualification (preferred) Reliable under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking labourer to support our fabrication team. The successful candidate will support our welding and fabrication operations by assisting skilled workers, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing various manual tasks. The preparation of parts for painting (shot blasting) will form a significant part of this role.
• Salary: Up to £21.00 per hour, dependant on experience • Job Type: Full time (40h/week), Permanent • Location: Travelling from our Coalville site daily this role will predominately be based at our customers quarries around the UK, there will be occasional travel further afield, with occasional overnight stays.
